Josh Evans Soccer School Holiday Camps are run every holiday and half term period and are held in the grounds of Therfield School, Leatherhead.
At Therfield School, Leatherhead we run our camps from Year R-8 for -girls and boys. Year R&1 we run in the morning only from 9am-12pm and for year 2-8 from 9am-3pm***. We offer an early drop off from 8am.
The sessions will be hugely beneficial to players who really want to develop. Players who attend ideally play for grass roots teams, or those want to get to that level, right through to those that play for professional academies. We boast 3 UEFA B license coaches who stretch the players technically, physically and help players understand the mental side of the game.
The sessions are intense but also enjoyable. We create an environment where players can have fun, learn to fail, develop new friendships, play with like minded children, feel safe and secure. The sessions also include team challenges, fun shooting games, competitions and top quality tournaments!
*** At our Christmas camp, we offer morning and afternoon sessions for YR2-YR8 (9am-12pm and 12.30pm-3.30pm). You are welcome to book either AM or PM sessions or both. If you are booking both please bring a pack lunch for the lunchtime break.
Sessions
Year R&1 session runs from 9-12pm and for year2-8 from 9am-3pm ***. We also offer early drop off from 8am.
The sessions work on the technical side of football (yes these courses are fun and action packed but players will learn and develop new and different skills all the time!) including: close control, skills and feints, attacking and defending principles, passing and shooting. Sessions can also inclide team games, including; over and under load attacking games, matches, tournaments, competitions and skills games.

Please book early
All courses are available to book once we email our mailing list in advance of the course.
These courses are popular and often fill quickly despite us increasing the capacity of our courses and finding new venues to accommodate more children,
In the past we have tried to be flexible and accommodate last minute requests for attendance, even when made in person on the morning of the course. Unfortunately, to comply with the terms of our Public Liability insurance we now have to maintain specified staff/pupil ratios and so can now no longer accept any children once the course is full.
To keep things as fair as possible we will maintain a waiting list and advise parents on it if a space becomes available, starting with the first on the list. Please note that means we cannot accept a request on the day of the course.
When booking your child on, please ensure you book your child onto the correct age group (ie your child’s current school year and not the new year they will be going into) as they may not be able to be moved at a later date if the age group they required is full

Just wanted to write a line to thank you for a fantastic week of football. Freddie had an absolutely amazing week and loved the four days of football. You bring out the best in him…..the Coaches are always enthusiastic, friendly and encouraging. You seem to know every boy by name and with their daily high fives, each coach is a real credit to your hardworking team. To see Freddie so engaged and happy playing football every day has been very much appreciated by me.

Just wanted to thank you for providing such an excellent time for Peter and Adam. They came out each day on a high, so full of their achievements and so happy. The icing on the cake for Peter was staying for the afternoon on the last day. He particularly mentioned playing with the others at “free time”. Adam was particularly pleased and has mentioned several times that he scored a penalty.

Thank you so much to the whole team! Sam thoroughly enjoyed his first JE holiday camp. On day 1 he told me his day had been “amazing” when I collected him. He learnt lots of new skills, particularly as this was the first time has had goalkeeper-specific teaching… huge thanks to Ian for encouraging Sam with this. The “player of the week” award he received was the icing on the cake and he is incredibly proud to have received it.
