THE STEPHEN LAWRENCE DAY FOUNDATION
Stuart Lawrence, brother of Stephen Lawrence and co-founder of the Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation, is also a guest coach at Josh Evans Soccer School.
The Stephen Lawrence Foundation, established amid unprecedented growing global awareness of racial inequality, exists to inspire a more equal, inclusive society, and to foster opportunities for marginalised young people in the UK. The Stephen Lawrence Cup – In August 2021 we hosted the first ever Stephen Lawrence Cup Tournament at Downsend School, Leatherhead which was won by Fulham FC – pictured with Stuart.
This year’s SL Cup is scheduled for 3rd September 2022 at Danes Hill School, Oxshott. The tournament day will kick off with an inspirational speech from Stuart himself. Then a mix of professional Academy (u10) and elite grassroot teams (u11) will play in the tournament. Academies who will join us this year are AFC Wimbledon, Arsenal, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Doncaster, Fulham, Luton, Millwall, Reading, Southampton, Swansea & West Ham. We look foward to a great day.
THE CHILDREN’S TRUST /

We wanted to do something slightly different with our current academy kit, so we did!
A huge thank you to our sponsor Kevin Morrison from 20Twenty Wealth Management who helped us create an amazing kit to be able to support the fantastic The Children’s Trust charity based in Tadworth. The Children’s Trust support approximately 1800 children with brain injuries per year – find out about all the amazing work they do here.
Not only has the kit been made affordable to parents through the sponsorship but for every kit purchased 50% of the proceeds goes straight to The Children’s Trust. If you would like to donate to the charity direct you can do so by texting Josh followed by the donation amount to 70450.
